LOL....tex let me know if you liked this interesting vision of del Toro. he wrote it while his grandmother was very ill and then she passed away so it was supposed to help bring him closure with his loss. also some good news for those of us that enjoyed hellboy...SOny has decided not to go ahead with the project as originally thought but other major studios are now looking at the films by del Toro and there may be a future for the sequel yet. i myself enjoyed the 1st one a great deal and would enjoy seeing a second one if it had the same time and effort put into it as the first.

I just lifted this from the horror channel... "Remember the other day when I jokinly theorized that Guillermo del Toro was just making up projects he was attached to so he could have a good laugh at our expense? I'm starting to wonder if that really is a joke...
Though we hadn’t fully realized it, apparently The Devil’s Backbone and Pan’s Labyrinth formed the beginnings of what is now being called a "Spanish trilogy" for the director, and today Variety announced what the third film would be; a movie called 3993, written by Spanish screenwriter Sergio Sanchez.
The film will take place in 1990’s Spain, having something to do with the Spanish Civil War, which ended back in 1939, and will tell a story of "the hostages left to fortune by the past." I’m not entirely sure what the means, but if it’s being treated the same as Backbone and Labyrinth, it will be well worth waiting to find out."
that was reported by THC's Johhny Butane.
