My Thoughts: Great fucking album, I love it! I believe that this is one of the best albums Ozzy has ever done, if not the best. Randy Rhoads is a badass guitar player, as his playing on here shows us. THere are a lot of classic songs like "Crazy Train" "I Don't Know" and "Mr. Crowley." Not one song on here is bad. It is an album you can listen to over and over again and not get bored with.
Track List
1. I Don't Know
Rating: 10/10
This song just plain kicks ass. The guiatr on this track is very badass and heavy, one of my favorite songs by Ozzy.
2. Crazy Train
Rating: 10/10
Another kickass song, I would wager that this is one of the most popular if not THE most popular song in his solo career. It really is a great song, any fan of metal would appreciate it.
3. Goodbye to Romance
Rating: 8/10
The heaviness stops for a minute for this ballad, which is probably about Ozzy being kicked out of Black Sabbath. A pretty good song.
4. Dee
Rating: 8/10
A 30 second acoustic instrumental. Not too bad.
5. Suicide Solution
Rating: 10/10
Ozzy comes back with an awesome song about his drinking habits. A badass tune, and another favorite of mine.
6. Mr. Crowley
Rating: 12/10
I love this song better than any other on this disc, and it's my 2nd favorite Ozzy song of all time. The opening with the pipe organ and synthesizer is awesome, and the guitar solos deserve a chapter in the book of badassness.
7. No Bone Movies
Rating: 7/10
This song was ok, not one of my favorites on the album. Not bad either though.
8. Revelation
Rating: 10/10
I really like this song. It woulda worked out just fine the way it started, but at the end there is this really cool guitar solo that makes it even better. An Ozzy classic.
9. Steal Away
Rating: 10/10
This song was good too. It was a great way to end the album.
Rating: 10
Final Words
Ozzy Osbourne: Blizzard of Ozz is one of the best metal albums ever released in my opinion. Every track is really good, and I think no metal collection is complete without this album. It is simply too badass for words to me. I give the album a 10, as it deserves nothing less.
