Unfortunately, the damage is already done. His murder wouldn't undo the carnage that his music has inflicted on us all throughout the years.

Maybe they deserve a dose of daemonpryde justice as well Yes, Lex Talionis my friend.... And I stand in agreement with all of the respondents on this thread. We live in a sick, screwed-up society, where the rich (literally) get away with murder and worse - child abuse being worse than murder in my opinion. Parents who let their children sleep with known kiddie-fiddlers; prosecuting authorities who display the height of incompetence but keep their jobs; jurors who were, it now seems, in such orgasmic frenzy over their own potential book deals and 15 minutes of fame that they couldn't keep their tiny fucking minds on the duty they were supposed to be about; all those pathetic little sheep who think MJ is Jesus, demonstrating outside the courthouse. There is no justice and no concept of responsibility in Western society any longer (if ever there was). What does everyone think the verdict would have been, if the accused had been a poor black man from one of the projects, instead of a nauseatingly wealthy, influential celebrity?

It wouldn't of mattered what color he was if he was poor. There are a lot more poor white guys on Death Row than anyone else. The rich can afford better defense attorneys, that's all; it's like that everywhere. It's still the best and most fair criminal justice system in the world.

I do not dispute you in the slightest my friend. But the fact that it is the "best" system in the world and that it certainly is like it everywhere, is one of the things which burns me - Western justice systems, indeed Western concepts of law, morality and ethics are in many ways superior to those of other cultures. BUT, they are still corrupt, unjust and feed the "criminal as victim" mindset.
What we have is currently the best - but it isn't, by any stretch of the imagination, the best it can be.

No doubt it's not the best it can be but since man is not perfect, it's the best one we'll ever have. It'd be nice to debate you sometime but we did a little of that when it concerned religion and politics on a previous site and now we are off topic again! No biggie, though.

It is sad the jorors was thinking more of their 15 mins of fame then doing therir jobs! I myself think there should be a law that keeps them from writing books about it. Make money off of someone elses pain? That's just wrong!
