John McBride's Cannibal Campout is a gore hounds dream. An amateurish shot-on-video rompous that's sure to sicken even the most die hard gore fans.
Not much to the story, really. It's more or less The Hills Have Eyes set in a rural part of the states (probably somewhere in the southeastern part of the U.S.)
There's guts galore. A prego-fetus-ripping scene which is digusting - idiot characters and a mad man wearing a war-pig mask. For those of you who thought they had seen all the gore there is to see, pick up this gem. It's available on John McBride's website. I'm not sure of the url, but a fast google search will take care of that.

I saw this in the early 90's and it was one sick ass film. The ending was too much, even for me!

I loved it, and Woodchipper Massacre, the movie on McBride made after this. Jon McBride is also a nice guy, I've talked with him a few times.

Yeah, I emailed him a few times. I don't know if he was joking or not, but he said he is thinking of remaking Woodchipper Massacre (if you haven't seen it the see it, it's hilarious!) as a musical
