I don't like it because it has aged so badly. And today, everybody is used to seeing a lot of blood in horror films and there's virtually none in Halloween. Besides that, Michael acts sorta like a wus, he's not someone who I'd be afraid of, unlike Jason who would make me shit myself before he ended my life.

I love Halloween. I have been hooked since I was like 6. This movie is just awsome with the music and all the shadows and stuff. I have never really cared for F13th or NOES that much.

I beat the shit out of jason and thenn i thought i was jason in part 5. In part four i was so much younger and clever then jason he is a retard, I was a mere 13 years old and was witty and very clever he never seen me coming with my bald head. But i messed up i even left some patches on my head he still didn't see it he thought he was looking into a mirror.

I am pumped up theenormityofitall come on dude3 how do you figue? Don't you know that the most scariest thing is your mind and they left it up for you to think what the fuck is he doing! It was great bottom line and i have to say i think this classic stands up agaisnt anything that new horror movies can throw at it.

It was scary when it came out and I was about 12, but since then there have been others that were more frightening. Eerie is probably a better word than frightening. I'm not sure if there's any movie anymore that actually scares people because of films like TCM or Last House...that many found so disturbing. People are no longer scared by any film, at least it seem that way to me.

This is the one that started it for me and Deathwish, and just look at us now.
That's how one movie can transform your whole movie watching fancy.
