Well it's been a while since we been here and I was wondering if anyone seen any good slasher movies? yes... even all the remakes too.

Just the same old 80's ones for me riff. I saw the remake of Halloween but didn't care for it.

I agree the Halloween remake wasn't the greatest but it wasn't to bad. I guess you'd have to like Rob Zombies previous films to enjoy it.
The last good slasher I watched was definitely Hatchet. That movie kicked ass!

The remake wasn't as good as the original so you're not missing much. You might like it if you're a fan of Rob Zombies past films.
Hatchet is awesome. It was so old school horror which is what made it kick ass plus you had Kane Hodder, Robert Englund & Tony Todd in it. I hope theirs a sequel & by the comments on the DVD by the director it seems like he's planning a sequel.

Yeah it definitely left it open for a sequel. I loved the ending & I really hope there is a sequel with cameos by some other horror icons as well as bringing Tony Todd back.

I liked Halloween the remake. I thought the kid did a great job and in this one you seen Myers point of view... but to me i though Zombie made it so that you cheered him on, but you have to hand it to him he got Danielle Harris topless which wasn't much. I called that also after seeing he got Terry from three's company to show her tits anything was possible lol. OK this hatchet? i see it's from the UK... hymmmm no I really can't stand UK movies at all.

No Hatchet isn't a UK movie. It's a US movie & it's awesome. I'm sure you'll love it.

Hatchet was made in Louisiana and is one of the best movies that came out in 2007.

Don't think I have seen any entertaining slashers lately. Guess I better get on that.

Did it go straight to DVD. Because I think I remember seeing it at the video store, but that was atleast almost a year ago.

Actually, Hatchet had a limited run at the theaters and was finally released on DVD in December, I believe.
