So here I'am writing a review for another movie that is not technically a horror film, but god damn it is a good film. Its another crazy, but smart film from Korea. This movie blends dark comedy, sci/fi, action very well. It really just makes a genre of it's own. So if you are tired of the shit movies that have been coming out lately, then look no further then "Save The Green Planet." During this film you will most likely not know who to cheer for, and you will ask yourself who is doing good. Is the main character really saving earth or is he just one sick person torturing people for no reason. At some parts you will cringe, and at other parts you might laugh, but when the whole movie wraps up with its over the top ending you will be shocked one way or another. This is one of the second Korean films I have seen (the first being "Oldboy"), and I can say that they are doing somthing right, because their films are a million times better than alot of the crap that has been coming out here in the U.S. I just want some people to discover these amazing films, because even though this and "Oldboy" are not really horror films, they still deliver the goods in terms of violence and blood. They also have great stories that will have you sucked into every minute of the film.
Synopsis: Byeong-gu believes that the world is on the verge of an alien invasion, and sets out to save the world.
[The Good] The special effects in this movie are very good, and certain scenes should make you cringe, even if it is just a slight one. But best of all the story telling and the filming that goes with it are awsome. One good example of that is when, we are told how the earth and humans were made.
[The Bad] I'm not sure if there is anything bad about this movie. I mean I have not really found anything to complain about, but maybe Im just to easy on movies. Anyways you will have to see it to find out for yourself.
"Perhaps, you are an alien?"
