Fulci was known for leaving the viewer with unanswered questions but he just didn't care. I still can't figure out why at the end of City...the two adults began screaming as the dopey child was running towards them. I must of watched that scene a dozen times and cannot find a reason. Anyway, Romero was the more serious of the two but Fulci's effects-like in City..., just can not be duplicated!!

Yea I still need to get City.........I have The Beyond and House By the Cemetary........I liked those alot..........lol I have so many Fulci films to get.

Fulci all the way let's face it Romero isn't all what he is cracked up to be. Fulci Zombies really looked like real corspe and Romero's like dawn of the dead they still had fat on their bodies and they all fell in green paint.

Like everyone else has said, Romero is the better filmmaker in general, but Fulci had the most realistic looking zombies.
I'm going with Romero since Dawn is one of my favorite movies, but it's really close.
