I think that Fulci had a lot of talent, but he needed better scripts. Either that or maybe they aren't translated into English well. I run into the same problem, to a lesser extent. with Argento, who is my favorite foreign director. It's hard for me to follow the stories sometimes. Other than that, I like Fulcii's movies.

I know what you mean , It is hard to watch them because of that same reason , But the gore is good . I watched Touch Of Death and it was good but the story could of been better . The stories can be better but then again maybe it is what you are say about the transaltion issues .

No challenge here, the horror god known as Romero. I've heard of Fulci but haven't seen any of his flicks, apparently that Zombie movie is suppose to be pretty good.

It's a tough choice as they are both equally good.

I've only seen 2 Fulci films (The House By The Cemetary and The City of the Living Dead), but they were enough to convince me the man had very little talent. If Zombi and The Beyond are anything like those two, then I can safely say Romero is an infinitely better director than Lucio Fulci is.

Romero is obviously the better director; most Fulci films are absurd lol but his zombies are much better and his movies much more gory. How can you not like City... Of course the story is silly but it's enjoyable cheese.

Which one, Fulci? Yes, definitely. He's THE MAN as I always say even though he's dead lol.
