It's time for Christmas break, and the sorority sisters make plans for the holiday, but the strange anonymous phone calls are beginning to put them on edge. When Clare disappears, they contact the police, who don't express much concern. Meanwhile Jess is planning to get an abortion, but boyfriend Peter is very much against it. The police finally begin to get concerned when a 13-year-old girl is found dead in the park. They set up a wiretap to the sorority house, but will they be in time to prevent a sorority girl attrition problem? i havent seen this one i know it's out on dvd is this one anygood i remember seeing it was on bravo top 100 scary moments.

Christmas Evil is the one that stunk! Black Christmas has some very tense moments and I liked it a lot but the ending was a cop-out to me. But I should say, some people thought the ending was good. To each his own. I'd recommend it.

LOL I thought they were the same one for a long long time! Christmas Evil was re-released by Troma a couple years back, so I'm taking it that THAT is the cheesy one. It had some goofy comment by john waters on the back, lol. But to be honest I haven't seen either one. I sort of liked silent night, bloody night. Deadly night, too... that one was fun

Believe me, Black Christmas is like Gone With The Wind compared to Christmas Evil. The latter was literally all talk except for the last few minutes of the film when there were a couple bloody, and not effective, bloody scenes.

i loved black christmas. it defintily set the standard on slashers. i believe this came out before halloween so its kinda like the godfather of slashers in my book. the attic scene is just plain creepy.
