I just wanto to say I'm sorry, Kim Henkel. I used to hate this movie. I've cursed your name a dozen times and swore off this movie forever. I despised it. Hated it for everything it was worth. I hadn't watched it in the better part of eight years. I had no desire too.
Not until last night did I find out that this film is a fucking masterpiece. As you guys know, I'm a firm believer in secret societies, which are called 'the Illuminati' - as in 'the enlightened ones'. They own everything. (I'll not get into it)
Anyway, I was numb upon an experience I had with TCM:NG last night. In the shot where Vilmer lets the girl out, on the side of the truck is the word 'Illuminati'. I had never noticed this before. This truly made me defecate on myself because at that point, I understood the complete subtext of the film.
I'm still quiet awed by the whole thing. I thought I recognized certain Freemason or MAsonic signs throughout the whole film, embedded in steel doors and being very subtle.
The whole film was based on what the Illuminati are doing.
I'll just touch on a certain thing and then I promise I'll stop.
The 'powers that be' want a genderless society. When there's no true men left in the world, then who's gonna fight the coming of the NWO? No one will have any balls left.
LEatherface is a parody of this genderless society. Using an object for his gratification(chainsaw), living a life of misery, screaming, not knowing who he is.
Vilmer's leg was controlled by a remote control. He was simply a crazy motherfucker who was ultimately paid by a high ranking member of 'the Illuminati' to inflict the true meaning of 'horror' upon the teens. He had hundreds of remote controls with dead batteries and spent more time trying to find the one with working batteries than he did anything else. Whomever had control of the remote had control over Vilmer's legs - or his body.
I finally got all the bad acting. Despite everything that was going on around them - people dying, chaos, a time when they should have their eyes on what's REALLY going on, they weren't in the least worried. (As so it seemed by the woodenness of their characters)
I could go one for six days and three hours on this, but I"ll spare anyone.
If anyone's interested, watch the film and spot the words on the truck.
