Massacre at Central High is about a new kid who is befriended by a popular girl at his new school. The cool guys don't really take a liking to him and end up pulling a prank that causes him to become cripple (I can't remember what they did) and then he seeks revenge. There's all this stuff about hierarchy and how this new kid ends up just as bad as the ones he's killing. The deaths are pretty cool though, if not terribly violent...
If I'm correct, this was a fairly popular movie critically, but when they used to run it on TBS I was always disappointed. What was worse, was that the title was so generic, everytime it came on I always thought it was a movie I had never seen! Blasted!
Anyway, I would actually like to see it again, because as a time capsule, it's pretty great. The fashion is subtle but definitely of the time and the cast is really good. My favorite scene is when Loni O'Grady (Mary on 8 is Enough) kicks the shit out of someone.
